Created in a quaint little studio in Toronto by designer Nicole McInnis, Oh Dina! pieces are handcrafted fascinators that delight the eye and are the cherry on top of any fabulous outfit! After studying historical costuming and fashion design over six years, her love for millinery and vintage femininity manifested itself into the Oh Dina! line. When creating her pieces she strives to fuse a vintage aesthetic with a modern quirky twist.
Through the use of a wide range of materials such as vintage birdcage veiling, stunning hand sculpted feathers, millinery horsehair braid and vintage button accents; each piece slightly differs from the last giving them individual personalities and one of a kind charm. Her sculptural millinery horsehair pieces draw inspiration from her fascination with the movement of the ocean which encompassed her childhood growing up along the ocean in Nova Scotia.
Custom orders:
The collections boast a wide variety of original designs and quality workmanship but sometimes its just nice to have something made one-of-a-kind for you! If you are interested in having something specifically designed for you contact the designer for a stunning custom piece. For custom work a six week minimum is required. Be sure to check out the custom album in the gallery to see past work for clients.
If you happen to be in Toronto appointments can be made to have consultations over tea and you can be an active in the creative process. But if you aren’t in Toronto, that is not a concern at all. You are still heavily involved in the design process.. you just miss out on the tea!
Notes on ordering:
Due to the one of a kind nature of these pieces, returns are not accepted. The highest of quality and craftsmanship resonates in each piece. If there are any questions about any of the fascinators please contact the e-mail below.
Each order is hand packaged in pretty pink tissue and nestled in a wee little box. It is mailed out 2-4 days of ordering through Canada Post Priority. For domestic orders please allow 1 week for delivery, for international orders outside of Canada please allow 2weeks.
